GHS Students Win Second Place In Region Academic Challenge

The following students placed second at the Academic Challenge on Thursday, April 23rd at McKeesport Junior High School: Vikram Cherupally, Val Pascoe, Marie Horomanski, Phil Perconte and Kalyn Sigg.

Gators Race for a Cure on Mother's Day

Gateway once again has teams participating in this year's Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure on Mother's Day, May 10, 2009, in Schenley Park at Flagstaff Hill. If you know you are participating or still thinking about it, please consider joining our Gators Race for a Cure Team. You can join by by simply going online to www.komenpittsburgh.org and selecting the "Join a Team" option. The search for the "Gators Race for a Cure" team and follow the directions to register. You can participate as a runner or walker and you don't have to walk with our team. As long as you register to participate on the Gator Team, the school will earn the credit.
